Hey, I’m Michael, a UK Male Voiceover Artist with a light Northern accent
Whilst being a Manchester voice, i’m no Liam Gallagher!
Because I have a more neutral british voiceover accent it makes me quite versatile for projects where the Voiceover can’t sound too regional, which is great for a wide variety of work
I voice for a wide range of projects too from Commercials & Corporate Videos, to Gaming and ADR Dubbing.
I’m typically known for voicing in a Warm, Friendly, Relatable style so the audience connects well with the message, like in this project for Regency Glass, voicing their mascot, Reg, or this TV ad for Amex
But I can be more authoritative and direct too, like in this TV commercial for the NHS and their Stop Smoking campaign
That said, I also love voicing more gritty and emotive pieces in my lower range that really explores emotions, like in this passionate sports promo for the Rugby Super League 2024 Final or this deeper, emotive read for Caritas
You can check out a bit more about me and my career on the button below, but otherwise click around and listen to my work and don’t hesitate to contact me with anything I can help with!

Voiceover FAQ's
Have a look through some of the more common questions I get asked, but if there’s anything not covered you;d like to know just ask
How much does a voiceover cost?
Pricing can vary depending on the type of project, but to give you a general idea: a 2-minute internal corporate or explainer video voiceover typically costs £200. This fee isn’t set in stone, and I’m flexible depending on the specifics of your project. It’s always best to get in touch so we can discuss what works best for you. For TV or Radio commercials, and similar projects, I follow the industry standard Rate Card, which you can view online here.
Turnaround times depend on my current workload, but you can generally expect your voiceover within 24 hours. For longer scripts, those with 1,000 words or more, the process may take up to 24 hours, but I’ll inform you upfront so you know what to expect. Short commercial scripts can often be delivered within an hour.
Absolutely! I’m available for directed sessions via Source Connect, CleanFeed, Zoom, or any other platform you prefer. Just give me 24 hours‘ notice to confirm availability. Best of all, there’s no extra charge for live sessions.
Do you have a professional home studio?
Absolutely! I record from a StudioBricks VO Edition booth using either a Neumann U87 or Neumann TLM102 microphone. The U87 is the gold standard for studios worldwide, while the TLM102 is renowned for its ‘buttery smooth’ sound, ideal for projects requiring a warm, rich tone. If you’d prefer me to come to your studio, I’m always open to working on-site—just let me know!
Are there any additional voiceover costs?
Additional charges typically only arise from usage changes, such as expanding a project’s use from internal to paid social media ads or TV broadcast, or from script rewrites. I’m quite flexible with minor tweaks, but substantial rewrites after recording may incur a fee. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees. Once I understand your project and receive your script, you’ll receive a quote that covers everything.
What types of work do you specialise in?
I specialise in a variety of voiceover projects. These include
- TV Commercials
- Radio Commercials
- Web/Internet Commercials
- Corporate Videos
- Explainer Videos
- ADR/Dubbing
- Performance Capture/Gaming
- Podcasting
- Sports Voiceovers
My work largely leans on human performances, in that, I try to convey emotive work, whether that be happy, sad, dramatic or neutral. I don’t work in roles that require Cartoon voices or accents, but I can absolutely point you to some recommended voices that specialise in these areas.
Additional notes
If you have any supporting material like music or video, it’s always helpful as it gives me a better sense of the tone you’re aiming for. However, if that’s not available, a simple description of your desired style or a reference to a piece of my previous work is more than enough for me to deliver exactly what you need.
