Alpine F1 & Microsoft

This promo film was a joint venture promo showing how the Alpine F1 team use the Microsoft Azure platform for their cars.

For this promo, they wanted a british voiceover that sounded confident and impactful

AC Milan – SuperCoppa Final

This promo was to hype up AC MIlan fans for their match against Inter Milan. 

AC Milan heard my Williams F1 film and wanted a VO style very similar of which I provided.

I was equally privileged as this was the main promo, so rather than using an Italian voice, they picked a Northern Male Voiceover!

Manchester City FC – Freestyle World Tour

Manchester City commissioned a 9 part internet series following Freestyle footballers around the world performing challenges, set by Man City Players.

For this project, each episode needed a bright narration style to keep up with the tempo of the episodes and naturally being a Manchester voiceover, I was proud to voice this project.

England Grassroots Football

This promo for the start of the new season in Grassroots Football was designed to remind people of the love and passion of Grassroots football, and where it all starts for alot players.

For this film, the voiceover needed to be relatable and a little bit more regional, aswell staying upbeat and fun, so I was grateful to have been their voiceover.

Autumn Nations Series

This promo for the Rugby Nations tournament was made as a hype film before the opening match.

The british voiceover for this needed to be energised and with a bit of impact, whilst keeping it fun at the same time.

I think the final edit is alot of fun and I was grateful to be nominated for Best Promo in 2023 for it.

Williams F1 – We Are Williams

Williams F1 wanted a really gritty and impatiful voiceover to compliment this video about the brands heritage and ambitions for the new season.

For this I dropped into my lower range and dived into the passion and emotion the brand were trying to invoke.

I’m particularly proud of this one as it earned me my first 2 award nominations

Innovation Group UK

However in this example for Innovation Group, the video is a step by step on the claims process for a customer. Again, a voiceover that’s friendly is needed but more emphasis being on giving clear information and instructions, taking more of the emotion out of it that some other videos require.

Society for Endocrinology

Some Explainer Videos require a voiceover to be more neutral in tone, to deliver something thats direct and informative. In this example for the You and Your Hormones Society that discusses the purpose of the Pituitary Gland, the voiceover tone is still leaning towards a friendly, informative style, but has a bit more of an educational feel to it, to reflect the content

WellMi Maritime

This video for WellMi, targeted at Maritime workers, aims to discuss looking after your mental health while on board the ships. For this, the tone needed to be kept simple and relaxed, with a warm and supportive tone.

Hospice Staff

Not all Explainer Videos require a friendly tone. As the topics can vary greatly, some videos need a more sensitive voiceover to reflect the subject matter. In this video, on behalf of the University of York, it talks about the research conducted with people who work in Hospices and the impact it has on them, aswell as identifying areas for improvement. For this, the voiceover tone needed to warmer and compassionate to reflect the music and story.

Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue

In this explainer video for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, they naturally wanted a Manchester Voiceover artist to accompany the film, and I was thrilled to be part of the project. This is a good example of a warm, friendly style voiceover, as the overall vibe of the animation is meant to be friendly and informative, with the voiceover to match.

O2 Recycle

In this explainer video for O2, the desire was to have a northern voiceover with a friendly and approachable style to explain their service ‘O2 Recycle’. With this sort of tone, it keeps the information easy to digest in a friendly and relatable style.
