About Me and how I can help You

Hello there!

Thanks for stopping by and having a look through my site. I’m Michael and im a British Male Voiceover from Manchester!

Hopefully after you’ve looked through this page, you’ll have a good idea about how my experience can be beneficial to you and help you when you book me for your project

My main ethos in my work is authenticity. Whether that’s a chatty, friendly and relatable tone or something more thought provoking, I voice alot of work that connects brands to consumers in a voiceover style of talking to people, not at them, which is nevermore popular than at a time where a robotic Ai voice just can’t bring that human element

With 7 years experience in the voiceover industry, I’ve got a big portfolio of work that has given me lots of experience working in different genres and styles and I’m actively involved in the community by way of a Voiceover Podcast called The Off Air Voiceover Podcast which is entering its 3rd season as of March 2025!

Personal development on my craft is always a top priority, so I’m consistently looking at ways to develop my reads and style, which led me to spending 2 years at the Manchester School of Acting. This contributed to me receiving 7 voiceover awards for my work, including 2x Male Voiceover of the Year!

And tone wise, Im considered as having a soft northern male voiceover accent. This makes me quite versatile for more neutral sounding projects where the Voiceover can’t sound too regional.

Friendly, Warm and Relatable are what my work is typically characterised as, which is popular for a wide variety of projects, like this one for Regency Glass, voicing their mascot, Reg, or this TV ad for Amex

But I can be more authoritative and direct too, like in this TV commercial for the NHS and their Stop Smoking campaign which needed a more gravelly northern british voiceover tone.

I also love voicing more gritty and emotive pieces in my lower range that really explores emotions, like in this passionate sports promo for the Rugby Super League 2024 Final or telling the emotive story in this animation for Caritas

I can deliver most projects within 24 hours, subject to script length and bookings at the time.

For shorter scripts, i’ll try to get it back to you the same day and there’s never any additional charges for an urgent delivery, so if you contact me with something with a super tight turnaround, if I can do it, I will, and it won’t cost you any extra

You can have the best mic in the world, but if your recording space is no good then your sound won’t be either.

StudioBricks are an industry leading provider of acoustic booths and the VO Edition is an excellent booth I record my work from, using ‘best in class’ Neumann Microphones

Affordable, Competitive Rates

We have industry rate cards as a guide, but I don’t believe there’s a ‘one size fits all’ approach, so I base my rates on a jobs individual specs, if there are any budgets, long terms collaborations etc which males it fairer and much more competitive

I also don’t charge additional fees for things like minor tweaks and changes
