Amex

This ad for Amex is 1 of 2 social media adverts they did to advertise their Additional Card Holder benefits.  Both convey a warm reassuruing feel to them and the voiceover needed to match. You can view the other advert here.

Caritas Salford

In a shift to traditional promo voiceover, this powerful animation for Caritas and there ‘Bee There’ campaign had me play the main character who recounted his time being homeless. Its incredible well put together and personally one of my favourite performances. I was proud to be nominated for an award in 2023 for Best Male Voiceover for this piece,

Royal School of Music

This promo for the Royal School of Music and Classroom 200 is to encourage music learning

The brief here was to really delve into a really warm, passionate feel to reflect how powerful music can be and the emotions it can invoke

Lunio

This video for the marketing brand Lunio was designed to be relatable, natural and informative To keep within that theme, I went with a more authentic style of voiceover, staying away from a traditional ‘delivery’ and something alot more conversational
Blue Light Card
This promo for Blue Light Card was to introduce the discount perks afforded to Emergency workers and others eligible The tone required for this was designed to feel relaxed, inviting and friendly to fit with the overall theme of the video
Blue Group
In this brand promo for Blue Group, they wanted to advertise how their Blue Care service can benefit their customers For this, they opted for a voiceover style that was from the view of an employee ‘Liam’ and delivered in a bright and confident tone

Whats the typical cost for a web commercial voiceover?

Much like regular commercials, the usage fee is the key factor here, and as there are so many variables to how you broadcast, there’s no one size fits all.  However, the industry rate card can be found here.  The fee isn’t too dissimilar to a corporate or explainer video but with the necessary usage added on

On the assumption I can do it straight away and you don’t want to join on a live session, I can usually have it back within an hour or 2.

Yes of course and I encourage them for more emotive led ads to make sure the tone is as you need it to be. I just ask for about 24 hours notice so I can make sure i’m available and once weve got a time slotted in, there’s no additional charge for sessions.

My work largely leans on human performances, in that, I try to convey emotive work, whether that be happy, sad, dramatic or neutral.  I don’t work in roles that require Cartoon voices or accents, but I can absolutely point you to some recommended voices that specialise in these areas.
